Knowledge workers are becoming more important in developing nations because through them we can access information we did not know before.

Knowledge workers are people whose jobs are focused on working with information. These people are highly qualified and highly educated. They are recognized as "problem identifiers" and "problem solvers" because they invent and discover new technologies and strategies.

Knowledge workers can be divided into two groups; technical or expert knowledge workers and creative knowledge workers. Scientists and law experts are experts are examples of technical or expert knowledge workers. Advertising agency agents are examples of creative knowledge workers.
