2 1/4 hours = 2 hours and 15 minutes
1/4 hours= 15 minutes because 15 goes into 60 four times
2 hours and 15 minutes + 6 hours and 20 minutes
2+6=8 hours
15+20=35 minutes
8 hours and 35 minutes is your final answer

Answer:

<h2>8h 35min</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

1h=60min\to\dfrac{1}{4}h=\dfrac{1}{4}(60min)=15min\\\\2\dfrac{1}{4}h=2h\ 15min\\\\2\dfrac{1}{4}h+6h\ 20min=2h\ 15min+6h\ 20min=(2+6)h+(15+20)min=8h\ 35min

Allushta [10]

Answer:

The number 1.256 is  A)rational number.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • A whole number is a non-negative number without any digits behind the decimal.
  • An integer is a set of negative and non negative numbers that don't have any digits behind the decimal.
  • A number that can be shown as a fraction of two whole numbers is a rational number. And the numbers that are not rational are irrational numbers.
  • Here, 1.256 is a fraction of whole numbers 1256 and 1000 , so it is a rational no.

                     \frac{1256}{1000} =1.256

  • But since it has digits behind the decimal it is neither a whole number, or an integer.

There are 4 different math courses, 5 different science courses, and 2 different history courses. If a student must take one of
rusak2 [61]

A student can take three subjects in 40 ways.

<u>SOLUTION:</u>

Given that, there are 4 different math courses, 5 different science courses, and 2 different history courses.

A student must take one of each, how many different ways can this be done?

Now, number ways to take math course = 4

Number of ways to take science course = 5

Number of ways to take history course = 2

So, now, total possible ways = product of possible ways for each course = 4 x 5 x 2 = 40 ways.

Hence, a student can take three subjects in 40 ways.
