The correct answer is option 1. Because when he is 5, he is in division one, that circle is filled in (that means it’s inclusive). When he turns seven, though, he moves up to division two. That means that it’s inclusive when he turns seven, but not when he turns five. So, it’s an inclusive closed circle on the left, and an exclusive open circle on the right. Lmk if u need more clarity!
