Before I give you pronounciations, please know that I haven't spoken French in a while and I'm brushing up now with my father, who is a saint for teaching me! It may read as ridiculous, but I sing and speak in French and it is my pronounciation of things.

"L ah me leh cafE dahn le toss"

"L ah me leh laht dahn la toss de cafE"

"L ab me leh sucr dahn/don (I don't know how Americans pronounce it, but something like that…) leh cafE o laht"

"Ave leh petit qulle L ah too-nE"

"L ah bu leh cafE o laht"

"Eh L ah repohsE leh tahs"

"Sahn me (quickly pronounced, sounding as m') paLE"

"L ah aloomE un cigaret"

"L ah fah deh rond ave leh fumE"

"L ah mi/e leh cendr dahn L cendre/r"

I must go now, but please contact me if you are in need of more answers.

Answer:

Well there are multiple cultures that speak French, like in France, countries in Africa, and parts of Canada. As well there are some very good foods that are French like crème brulee, crepes, and macaroons. I also have a few french canadian family members who learned french and english as kids and are fluent in both languages.

Give at least two reasons why French and English have so many words that look and/or sound similar.
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

1) The French and English languages are related in a sense, because French is a Romance language descended from Latin with English influences.

2) French was the language of diplomacy and the people of Normandy brought a lot of words over with the when they invaded England in 1066.

L accord du participe passé des verbes pronominaux. Reminder : in compound tenses ( like the passé compose ) the past participle must agree with the subject if etre is used as an auxiliary.
