The reform era was a period in US when there were many laws that changed from the archaic ones to new progressive ones more in tune with the psychological basis of the Great awakening and the revolution itself.

There were more progressive laws made for women and racial minorities during this time including the right to vote for women, the making sure of guarantee of education to all citizens and the relaxation in segregation.
