What did the American revolution mean for native Americans

Answer:

Many Native Americans fought in the Revolutionary war, primarily for Britain, although a few did fight for America. Most of the tribes tried to remain neutral during this time, but when American militia attacked some of them, they decided to join the British. The British also promised them many rewards,  which was another incentive for them to fight with Britain, although most Native Americans never received any of the rewards.
