If you want to learn Tamil completely at home, you can use videos from a streaming video service to assist you. You can also sign up for some classes on a skill-learning platform. You want to first learn the vowels, which are needed to alter any consonant. If you have the written part of the language down, you could watch Tamil TV shows or movies to learn the pronunciation, which can actually be quite hard. A perk of doing this is that you can also enjoy some entertainment while learning Tamil :)

If you know anyone who speaks tamil, practice with them! Also, I find watching and listening to songs and movies helps with pronunciation.

Answer: I’m already taking Spanish but if I had the choice this time I still would pick Spanish since there are so many people who already know that language, and it can help in your career that way you can communicate and help as many people as possible.
