Christianity came first to the continent of Africa in the 1st or early 2nd century AD. Oral tradition says the first Muslims appeared while the prophet Mohammed was still alive (he died in 632). Thus both religions have been on the continent of Africa for over 1,300 years.
Alpine glaciers often feed rivers used for their freshwater. Glaciers in the Himalayas contain the largest store of water outside of the Greenland and Antarctic ice caps, and feed seven major Asian rivers: the Ganges, Indus, Brahmaputra, Mekong, Thanlwin, Yangtze, and Yellow Rivers.
Fossil is used to fuel cars and airplanes, power electricity plants, and heat our homes. They are also used to make medicines , cosmetics, plastics, systhetic fabrics , and lubricants.
