As the peppered moth evolved over time, its wings changed from light to dark so that it could better hide from predators. The evolution of peppered moth is used an example of natural selection. The evolution of the peppered moth over the last two hundred years has been studied in detail. Originally, the vast majority of peppered moths had light coloration, which effectively camouflaged them against the light-colored trees and lichens which they rested upon. However, because of the wide spread pollution during the Industrial revolution in England, many of the lichens died out, and the trees that peppered moths, or typica, to die off from predation. At the same time, the dark-colored, or melanic, moths, carbonaria, flourished because of their ability to hide on the darkened trees.

One reason that regulation of gene expression is important is that it saves energy and materials from being used when they are n
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:Transcriptional Regulation

Explanation:

Eukaryotic gene expression can be regulated during the time of transcription and RNA processing, which takes place in the nucleus of the cell and then during the time of protein translation in the cytoplasm.

Further regulation is being carried during the time of post transnational modification. The conservation of energy is very important because it saves the overall energy and space in the body.

Hence, the most important point for the regulation would be transcriptional regulation.

The phenomenon of multiple, overlapping action potentials gradually building muscle tension is called:
rewona [7]
The answer is graded potential. Its made of various action potentials that depolarise the neuron incrementaly, in short interspersed intervals that do not give time for the neurons to return to resting potential. Therefore, the actions potentials, of varying sizes, grade up in sum and when they cumulatively reach the threshold level, they invoke an impulse in the nerve
