I feel like most employers (at least the good ones) choose someone with good work ethic, regardless of their citizenship because sometimes it’s the “illegals” that work harder and the American born people who are lazy and entitled to everything.

Why did the British abandon Boston in early 1776?
Yanka [14]
The British abandoned Boston in early 1776 because they were forced out of the country by the American soldiers.
American Revolutionary War was at large, and the Patriots, led by general Washington (who later became the first president of USA) won the battle at Boston, which was bloodless, by the way. This brought an end to an eight-year British occupation of the city.

Dimas [21]
Yes, in general this is a true statement, since most of these important changes in technology occurred during the Industrial Revolution, which led to demand for far more resources from areas like South America, which previously did not export a great deal of materials.
