Answer:

The correct option is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the center of the circle is E, and the line ON intersect the circle at A and D. The line OP intersect the circle at B and C.

Let the measure of ∠NOP be x.

Draw line segments AC, BD, AE, BE, CE and DE.

\angle AEB=30^{\circ}

\angle CED=70^{\circ}

According to the central angle theorem, the angle inscribed on the circle from the angle two point on the circle is half of its central angle.

By using central angle theorem,

\angle CAD=\frac{\angle CED}{2}=\frac{70}{2}=35^{\circ}

\angle ACB=\frac{\angle AEB}{2}=\frac{30}{2}=15^{\circ}

According to the exterior angle theorem, the sum of two interior angles of a triangle is equal to the exterior angle of third vertex.

By using exterior angle property of a triangle,

\angle NOP+\angle ACB=\angle CAD

x+15^{\circ}=35^{\circ}

Subtract both sides by 15.

x=35^{\circ}-15^{\circ}

x=20^{\circ}

The measure of ∠NOP  is 15 degree. Therefore option B is correct.

Find the lateral area of the regular pyramid<br><br> L.A. =
Arisa [49]

Answer:

FOR REGULAR PYRAMID with those dimension.

L.A = 96

FOR HEXAGONAL PYRAMID with those dimension

L.A = 171.71

Step-by-step explanation:

Please the question asked for L.A of a REGULAR PYRAMID, but the figure is a HEXAGON PYRAMID.

Hence I solved for both:

FOR REGULAR PYRAMID

Lateral Area (L.A) = 1/2* p * l

Where p = Perimeter of base

P = 4s

P = 4 * 6

P = 24cm

l = slanted height

l = 8cm

L.A = 1/2 * 24 * 8

L.A = 1/2 ( 192)

L.A = 96cm ^ 2

FOR AN HEXAGONAL PYRAMID

Lateral Area = 3a √ h^2 + (3a^2) / 4

Where:

a = Base Edge = 6

h = Height = 8

L.A = 3*6 √ 8^2 + ( 3*6^2) / 4

L.A = 18 √ 64 + ( 3 * 36) / 4

L.A = 18 √ 64 + 108/4

L.A = 18 √ 64+27

L.A = 18 √ 91

L.A = 18 * 9.539

L.A = 171.71
