Write a paragraph explaining in what ways you have affected the lives of others.

English
1 answer:
borishaifa [10]4 years ago
3 0

Answer:

Who truly knows the impact they've had on others' lives. Every day, I try to treat others with kindness and respect. What happens after I hold a door for them, compliment their outfit, or just share a smile is unknown. But that is the beauty of it. Perhaps someone is already feeling great, and they are eager to smile back at me and share their positivity. Or it's possible they are in a dark place, and just having a connection with someone else is what they need to get through it. Of course it would be nice to know everyone's story, to know someone's name, or to just say hi to them. But being kind to strangers is special in it's own unique way. I can't say for certain that I have helped others. But I like to think I have.

In literature a symbol can be subtle or obvious. In 'The Raven' the symbol is obvious. Poe himself meant the Raven to symbolize 'mournful, never-ending remembrance.' Our narrator's sorrow for his lost, perfect maiden Lenore is the driving force behind his conversation with the Raven

Government officials downplayed the severity of the crimes committed.

Explanation:

Remember, it was a question asked by a journalist to a US state department press conference in which the US spokeswoman Christine Shelley avoids applying the term "genocide" to the what was happening in Rwanda. Despite the fact that there had been an ethic cleansing of the Tutsi tribe, with more thousands of dead bodies on the streets.
