I believe it is “scanning for hazards.” This is not a distraction, rather, it makes your drive safer!

However, it may take one’s eyes away from the actual car in front. Hence, the answer may also be E: none of the above.

Several people are unfortunately crash their cars due to eating while driving, texting, tuning the radio, and looking at a “cool car” on the road.

Hope this helps! :)

bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

1. It reduces the probability of sampling bias.

2. A random sample will be more representative of the whole population.

3. Allows the researcher to determine the efficacy of the fertilizer.

Explanation:

Selecting a simple random simple from a large population is a widely used method in science. Researchers select a random sample so every individual, in this case seedling, has an equal chance to be selected.

Therefore, it is an accurate method that, although is not free from errors, avoids or reduces the probability of sampling bias. Selecting a truly random tomato seedling will be more representative of the whole population of seedling instead of selecting carefully a seedling that already has specific or desired characteristics. Hence, this random sampling will allow the researcher to determine the efficacy of the fertilizer.

APHG Question-
Makovka662 [10]

Answer: Look at the explanation.

Explanation: An environmental consequence could be our land. The more land we use for agriculture results in loss of biodiversity. Slash-and-burn kills many trees and plant life. These trees are home to many small animals and now they are homeless and will die unless they adapt and find a new land. A social consequence could be food deserts. Food deserts are caused by and increase poverty and starvation. Nonexistent stores in rural areas do not help the population. People starve and barely have another way of getting healthy food. They rely on fast food chains which do not help with health.
