Answer:

The correct answer is:

a)FADH2

c)GTP

e)NADH

Explanation:

The Citric acid cycle(TCA) also known as the Kreb cycle, is a focal metabolic center of the cell. It is a sequence of chemical reactions in which the acetyl portion of acetyl CoA is degraded to carbon dioxide and hydrogen atoms. These reactions all occur in the matrix of the mitochondria. This cycle is also an important source of precursor for other molecules such as amino acids, nucleotide bases cholesterol etc. The function of the citric acid cycle is the gathering of high-vitality electrons from carbon fuels. The citric acid cycle removes electrons from acetyl CoA and use it to reduce NAD and FAD into NADH2 and FADH2 respectively.

Overall, The citric acid cycle oxidizes two carbon units(from acetyl CoA) and produces two molecules of carbon dioxide, one molecule of GTP and high energy electrons which are present in the form of NADH2 and FADH2

The endosymbiotic theory suggests that a prokaryotic cell ate another prokaryote, giving rise to eukaryotes.

Mitochrondria of the eukaryotic cells.
As many researchers hypothesize that the old single-celled organism or the origin of the complex-celled organisms came from the endosymbiosis of the mitochrondrion organism and the prokaryotic cell. It has been said that mitochondria was an independent organism which then to have been evovled itself after planting itself inside a prokaryotic cell which aided cellular respiration and production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). This then aided the prokaryotic cell to be more sophisticated and caused another change from having without a true nucleus to a eukaryotic cell with a nucleus and embedded DNA.

The presence of variation in the size and shape of bacterial cells of the same species is known as _______.
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

Correct answer is a pleomorphism

Explanation:

Some bacteria have the ability to change their shape and size which is called pleomorphism. The bacteria which change their shape and size are called pleomorphic bacteria.

These bacteria change their shape due to the change in the external environment condition. For example, bacteria can from rod to coccus shape as their environmental condition changes.

Some examples of pleomorphic bacteria are mycoplasma, some members of the Deinococcaceae family, helicobacter pylori, etc. So the correct answer is a.
