When the war was declared in 1917, the US military troops were not prepared properly. Since American soldiers were large in number they had no place to get trained in France. Soldiers were traveled on ships to France since there were no signs of air transportation. The ships would be very crowded and there won't be a place to move an inch even. They would be trained vigorously and won't be allowed to take rest. They could only see the sky once or twice a daily by coming over to the deck. In 1918, they went through trench warfare before seeing the combat in November. The trenches were 4 feet wide and eight feet deep and sometimes even shallower where they had to spend maximum time. Even they were inhaling poisonous gases due to which many were killed in those trenches.

Explain in detail what happened to the large complex Aztec and Inca empires after the spanish conquest.
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:

This is all I can give you right now but someone else can do better than me:

The Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, also known as the Conquest of Mexico or the Spanish-Aztec War (1519–21),[7] was one of the primary events in the Spanish colonization of the Americas. There are multiple 16th-century narratives of the events by Spanish conquistadors, their indigenous allies, and the defeated Aztecs. It was not solely a contest between a small contingent of Spaniards defeating the Aztec Empire but rather the creation of a coalition of Spanish invaders with tributaries to the Aztecs, and most especially the Aztecs' indigenous enemies and rivals. They combined forces to defeat the Mexica of Tenochtitlan over a two-year period. For the Spanish, the expedition to Mexico was part of a project of Spanish colonization of the New World after twenty-five years of permanent Spanish settlement and further exploration in the Caribbean.

3. Contextualize.
Tema [17]

Answer:

The Industrial Revolution led to poor worker conditions. Because there was no regulations, many workers were harmed causing them to revolt and demand more rights. This meets the essay’s requirements for contextualization because it further identifies historical events and connects each of the events as well as listing points on how the revolution sparked movements.
