B. Information provided by spies in the United States.

Explanation:

The time during World War II was a very important time for developing and using nuclear capabilities. Many countries and powers believed that by obtaining new nuclear weapons and items, they would have a better chance at winning the war.

The Manhattan Project was a huge project by the United States that helped develop some of the first ever made nuclear weapons. Numerous scientists worked on this and it took some time to complete. The Manhattan Project eventually lead to Japan surrendering because of the nuclear bombs that the United States used on them.

During the Manhattan Project, numerous Soviet Union spies would use the information from the United States to create and use their own nuclear weapons. Klaus Fuchs was a very important figure in this, as he would spy and steal information from the United States and other Allied powers to help the Soviet Union.

Look at Source A.
What do buildings such as these suggest about the Catholic Church?
attashe74 [19]

These ruins suggest that the Catholic church suffered during the rule of Henry VIII of England.

What is seen in the image?

Pictured are the ruins of Furness Abbey, a former monastery outside the English town of Barrow that was built in 1123.

Why was this abbey destroyed?

Despite being one of the most important abbeys in England during the Middle Ages, once Henry VIII came to power, the abbey was separated from the State and destroyed in 1537 during the English Reformation.

Because Henry VIII did not agree with the internal management of the Catholic Church, so he created his own church in which the sacred scriptures were interpreted in a different way during the 16th century.

According to the above, it can be inferred that the reforms to the church affected the Catholic Church because many faithful and temples were rejected and destroyed.
