How was religion linked to the state in early Roman times?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The beliefs of early Romans were animistic in nature. They believed they were watched over by the ancestors. After Roman adoption of Greek mythology and gods and the absorption of Hellenistic culture, the worship of those gods (with changed games) was a public and official practice.  Roman religiousness was not based on the search for divine grace but on mutual trust of god and man. Roman religion was aimed at securing cooperation, benevolence and peace from the gods (the so-called pax deorum).

Which geographic feature helped isolate Japan?
Scrat [10]
The answer is of course B - water.

Japan is consisted out of four big islands (Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, and Kyushu). While each of them also has their own small characteristics, separate from each other, Japan has in general been isolated due to its specific geographical environment. Not being connected to any landmass such as neighbouring China, the only contact they could have had was by boat. And travelling by boat has always been more difficult compared to packing your stuff and going somewhere.

Which describes the Middle Passage?
sergeinik [125]
I would go with D because they were cruel to slaves, if they got sick during the trip to Americas they were thrown over board and sometimes they were covered by a type of insurance so it didn't matter if they lost some slaves on the way.

If its multiple answer i would go with B and D.  Europe would send guns and other things to the people who give slaves to the Americas then the Americas would send Europe raw materials that Europe didn't have like sorts of food or animals.
