The preoperational stage is the 2nd stage of the cognitive-developmental stage of Piaget. This stage carries between the stage of 2 to 7 years. In this stage, the child develops language and it is the hallmark of this stage. At this stage, children are not able to understand the logical meaning of objects. The children are not able to manipulate the information. At this stage, the children are not able to perceive another's viewpoints but they believe in self-perception which is called ego-centrism. Conservation is another technique that is used by children.
The stamp act was what required a tax to be paid if you exchanged documents. The act was made by the congress, and it allowed those who paid their tax to have a stamp on their document!
