Answer:

a) Shape is ratio

b) Area/field is ratio

Step-by-step explanation:

By data classification, we have two major headings namely:

1. Categorical data (also known as Qualitative data)

2. Measurement or metric data (also knows as Quantitative data)

Under categorical data, we have the:

=> Nominal data and Ordinal data

Under the measurement data, we have;

=> Interval data and ratio scale.

Please note that, we might use scale or data interchangeably.

Now, both Shape and Area are measurable. That is, we can measure or quantify them.

E.g., Shape can be pi R^2h and Area can be length multiply by breath.

The main reason why they are both ratios is that their outputs or values will usually be continuous. And of course, there is no true zero! When we say no true zero, we mean that zero doesn't mean an absence of value or output.

Hint: as long as an entity exists, there will be shape or area cover and it can be measured/quantify!

Answer:

Circle D

Step-by-step explanation:

Circle A and B contain elements. We can tell because the circle only contains one type of substance. We can also conclude that A and B are probably diatomic elements. Circle C contains a compound. This leaves us with Circle D which contains a mixture as it has elements and compounds.
