Mohen-jo daro and Harappa are the two important towns of Indus valley civilization. The main important features or characteristics of Indus Valley civilization are city planning, construction of houses made of burnt brick, proper drainage systems, broad roads, etc. They had the knowledge of farming and also storing grains in their grain storage house. One such evidence is the discovery of the "Great Granary" at  Mohen-jo Daro and six other small granaries found at Harappa. These granaries are used to store grains and pulses for future use.
