Why would states with smaller populations favor each state having one vote in Congress? What might be the position of states wit
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

Because it lets them have equal say with other states

Explanation:

States with smaller populations favor having a set number of representatives in Congress because it allows them to still have an influence on politics. If representation in a body of power depends on population size, then the states with a larger population will have more representatives, and therefore the interests of the larger states will be pushed more, while the smaller states' voices will be drowned out. Larger states would most likely prefer representation based on population because it gives them more say on politics and because it serves the interests of the majority of the overall population.

As American colonists questioned British rule, public discussion focused on topics such as colonial independence and individual
yKpoI14uk [10]
This is a question asking a personal opinion, so I'll give you mine.

I believe the literature from this period influenced the future generations of American Literature is it taught us to be independent, to stand up against those who simply expect us to follow like mindless sheep. It influenced literature by showing everyone that their opinion matters, even against your authority, and that has influenced books and passages heavily since.

Traces of these themes can be seen everywhere. Authors from all over make books about how standing up is the best thing to do, and how being independent is important. Books, passages, texts, websites, etc all preach this. This is presented in various situations where independence is important.
