But, they will dance. And so will most of the guests. and usually the party goes on until really late at night, there is a lot of drinking , specially aguardiante , which is a colombian drink. Also , many Colombian couples will follow the tradition of Las Arras. The Arras are little coins that are exchanged during the wedding ceremony. These coins are given by the groom to the bride as a symbol that what is mine (monetarily speaking) is now yours. The way and number of coins is not as important as the actual exchange of the coin.

Hace unos meses yo avía ido a Universal Studios en Los Angeles. El día antes de llegar a nuestro destino, la pasamos en tráfico porque andaba mi familia en carro. Durante el tiempo que estuve ahí con mis padres yo pude ver muchos juegos y actividades para hacer. Igual avian unas cosas para comer como dulces y papas fritas. Le avía preguntado a mis padres por unas y me dieron dinero para ir a comprar. El momento que fui a poner mi orden me dio las bienvenidas el señor y me pregunto por lo que quería. Después de esperar unos minutos de la espera me llamaron el nombre y fui a recoger la comida que avía ordenado y felizmente me fui a comerlas. Al fin todos nos cansamos y decidimos irnos del parque, cuando nos estábamos saliendo las personas que trabajaban ahí nos dijeron adiós y nos fuimos. Mi familia se andaba quedando en un Hotel que andaba sercas y solo nos quedaban unos días para volver a nuestro hogar. Después de los días que pasaron nos metimos en el carro y volvimos por el mismo camino por cual aviamos llegado.
