Answer:

a. prejudice against dramas association with court life and monarchy

c. no audiences

e. lack of finances

f. Puritans outlawed drama in some colonies.

Explanation:

Although dramas were much popular in Europe, America drama was still in the development stages. This challenged America to begin to focus on the novel way of art and it began its America journey drama. However, they experienced some problems that ensured their start was slow. Due to the fact that most dramas were credited to the European society and were mainly based on monarchy and courtly life, there was some prejudice on how these lifestyle were depicted. At this point, there were no audiences, and hence they lacked the finances to sustain itself, because states could not fund it, owing to the fact that they were still colonies. Finally, America was still a colony at that point and Puritans outlawed drama in some colonies.

Night Reading Questions (Night the book)
marishachu [46]
Elie Wiesel is quite emphatic about the cruelty of the Nazis. At the same time, he holds a great deal of anger towards Jewish individuals who failed to speak out and act in a manner that defied indifference. Throughout Night, we see instances where the cruelty and dehumanization the Nazis showed towards Jewish individuals, similar treatment is shown with Jewish individuals towards one another.

What can an author do to promote <br> a readers suspension of disbelief
otez555 [7]

Answer:

The correct use of images, symbols and word play will be vital to create, and promote, a readers suspension and disbelief. These images, the environment of suspense created by them, and the words used by a writer, will enhance this suspension and this disbelief. In literature this is vital as it is one way in which a writer will be able to maintain a reader´s interest in the story. Without this, the emotional and sensible part of the reader will not be engaged and soon interest will fall. But through the use of suspensful words, and images, as well as the use of symbols that create a sense of wonder, and leave the reader wishing for more, the writer promotes that sense of suspension and disbelief.
