Answer:

Rock layers of different ages contain different fossils.

Explanation:

  • A Biozone is a stratigraphic unit that consists of intervals of the geologic data and defined in terms of the fossil texas and is defined by there lithospheric peripheries of the surrounding rocks.
  • And hence they are defined by the zone fossils, depending on the relative abundance or the variation. And the overlapping unit has the same characteristics as the zones. And the boundaries of the two distinct zones are called the biohorizons.
  • <u>They are divided into various types as taxon ranges, concurrent ranges, interval and lineage zones.</u>

Line r is parallel to line t. Find M 4. The diagram is not to scale
n200080 [17]

Explanation:

Hi there!

Given;

one angle (let be x)= 141°

Then;

141° + angle 3 = 180°. {being linear pair}

angle 3 = 180°-141°

angle 3 = 39°

Therefore, angle 3 is 39°.

Now; angle 3 = angle 4 = 39° {alternate angles are equal}

Therefore, the measure of angle 4 is 39°.

19. A satellite goes along an elliptical path around earth. The rate of change of area swept by the line joining earth and the s
grigory [225]

Answer:

r^\frac{1}{2}

Explanation:

Angular momentum, L = m v r

areal velocity = \frac{dA}{dt}

according to kepler's 2nd law

\frac{dA}{dt}=\frac{L}{2m}

since, we know that

v=\sqrt{\frac{Gm}{r} }

areal velocity= \frac{mvr}{2m} = \frac{vr}{2}

now substituting value of v in areal velocity we get

\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{GMr}

hence from above equation of rate of change of area swept i.e. areal velocity is proportional to   r^\frac{1}{2}
