The green papaya, apart from being a healthy exotic fruit, also has some other uses, maybe surprisingly, but it has a use as a meat tenderizer. This fruit is used for this purpose because of the enzyme that it is containing, the papain, which is an enzyme that manages to break down the peptide bonds. In essence, this means that the papain of the papaya manages to break up the harder structure of the meat, thus making it softer and easier for consumption.
A biome is an area classified according to the species that live in that location. Temperature range, soil type, and the amount of light and water are unique to a particular place and form the niches for specific species allowing scientists to define the biome.
