10x ÷ 5 = 30

Step 1: To isolate 10x multiply 5 to both sides. Multiplication is the opposite of division and will cancel 5 on the left side and bring it over to the left

10x ÷ ( 5 × 5) = 30 × 5

10x ÷ 1 = 150

10x = 150

Step 2: To isolate x divide 10 to both sides. This will cancel 10 from the left side and bring it over to the right

10x/10 = 150/10

x = 15

Check:

10 (15) ÷ 5 = 30

150 ÷ 5 = 30

30 = 30 --------------------------------------------------> Correct!

x = 15

Hope this helped!

6 </span>− 1 = 5 ;   →  a = 5 ;

To check our work:

5 + 1 − 2 = ? 4 ?? ;

5 + 1 = 6 ;

6 − 2 = 4.  Yes!

Andrej [43]

The probability that an event will occur is 2/3.

Means out of 3 times, 2 times that event will occur.

Please refer the pie chart for this, blue is the color which represents event to be occur and orange is not to be occur.

We can see, blue part is much more than orange part.
