At coastal regions of Texas, more rainfall occurs due to its location i. e. nearness to the sea while inland region receives less rainfall as compared to coastal regions. The wettest months of the coastal region is the month of September whereas April and May in the western areas are considered as the wettest months of the year. The inland regions are present at high elevation while going to the coastal region of Texas, elevation decreases.
