You must make 4 deliveries per hour with Plan A to earn as much as Plan B.

Step-by-step explanation:

Plan A;

Earning per hour = $5

Per delivery earning = $0.75

Let,

x be the number of deliveries.

A(x) = 5 + 0.75x

Plan B;

Earning per hour = $7

Per delivery earning = $0.25

B(x) = 7 + 0.25x

For earning as much as B.

A(x) = B(x)

5+0.75x=7+0.25x\\0.75x-0.25x=7-5\\0.5x=2

Multiplying both sides by 0.5

\frac{0.5x}{0.5}=\frac{2}{0.5}\\x=4

You must make 4 deliveries per hour with Plan A to earn as much as Plan B.

If f(x) = 2x^4, then f'(3) =
valkas [14]

To find f'(3) (f prime of 3), you must find f' first.  f' is the derivative of the function f(x).

Finding the derivative of f(x) = 2x⁴ requires the use of the power rule.

The power rule for derivatives is \frac{d}{dx} [x^{n} ] =nx^{n-1}.  In other words, you bring the exponent forward and multiply it by the coefficient of the term, and then you subtract 1 from the original exponent.

f'(x) = \frac{d}{dx}(2x⁴)

f'(x) = 2(4)x³

f'(x) = 8x³

Now, to find f'(3), plug 3 into your derivative.

f'(3) = 8(3)³

f'(3) = 216

<h3>Answer:</h3>

f'(3) = 216

Fittoniya [83]
Just general definitons:

a TRInomial has 3 terms (tri means three)
a BInomial has 2 terms (bi means two)
a MONOmial has 1 term (mono means one)

the degree is the highest exponent found in the algebraic expression

so they should be pretty easy to solve with that information, but just in case:

1. trinomial, degree of 4
2. binomial, degree of 3
3. monomial, degree of 2

for the final question, all you have to do is plug in 2 for x, so

(2)^2 - 2(2) + 1

4 - 4 + 1

so the answer is 1

kirza4 [7]

Answer:

2*(5x - 2) + 2*(3x+1) ; Perimeter = 62 centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

2*(5x - 2) + 2*(3x+1) = 10x - 4 + 6x + 2

                                = 16x -2

If x = 4 , then Perimeter = 16*4 - 2 = 64 - 2 = 62 cm
