Answer:

Explanation:

When it comes to the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages, we should mention the close connection between the Church and the empire as well as  the monarch. This created a political connection between the Church and the rulers, where mutual help and support were provided. In the absence of new ideas that would confront such a combination, until the appearance of the Renaissance, this political tie was very effective in its domination. In addition to the Catholic Church, there was also the Orthodox Church which had a similar concept. The clergy played an important role in spreading and strengthening church learning, with effective methods to prevent any "heresy". The Church had great economic power and wealth and played a decisive role in making political decisions. The rulers, on the other hand, benefited because the Church secured their legitimacy through the idea of a divine ruler established under the patronage of the Church.

Answer:

The Catholic Church became very rich and powerful during the Middle Ages. People gave the church 1/10th of their earnings in tithes. They also paid the church for various sacraments such as baptism, marriage, and communion. ... Leaders of the church became rich and powerful. Explanation: The Middle Ages were a period in Europe dating from the collapse of the Roman Empire in the West, around the 5th century. However, the fixing of dates for the beginning and end of the Middle Ages is arbitrary. According to the Norton Anthology, "Medieval social theory held that society was made up of three 'estates': the nobility, composed of a small hereditary aristocracy,...,the church, whose duty was to look after the spiritual welfare of that body, and everyone else..."( Norton 76).

According to Microsoft Encarta, "No one definitive event marks the end of antiquity and the beginning of the Middle Ages. By the end of the 5th century the culmination of several long-term trends, including a severe economic dislocation and the invasions and settlement of Germanic peoples within the borders of the Western empire, had changed the face of Europe. For the next 300 years western Europe remained essentially a primitive culture, albeit one uniquely superimposed on the complex, elaborate culture of the Roman Empire, which was never entirely lost or forgotten in the Early Middle Ages"(Microsoft).

The only universal European institution was the church, and even there a fragmentation of authority was the rule; all the power within the church hierarchy was in the hands of the local bishops. The church basically saw itself as the spiritual community of Christian believers, in exile from God's kingdom, waiting in a hostile world for the day of deliverance. The most important members of this community were found outside the hierarchy of the church government in the monasteries that dotted Europe.

I hope I can help you :)

Many cultures use fireworks to celebrate various holidays, however, the chemicals used in fireworks and pyrotechnics can have negative effects on our environment. It still makes people feel happier when they watch it. And fireworks have been a new yearly culture in Bahrain National Day.

Bahrain National Day is one of the biggest events of the year, and there are plenty of things to do in 2020 to keep you entertained one of them is the fireworks show.
