The lysosome is surrounded by a single membrane. This membrane made up of lipoproteins. The lysosome is also known as a suicidal bag. This is meant for the digestion of injured cells. The acidic enzymes present in it helps in cell lysis. The cytoplasm burst due to osmotic swelling. If a single lysosome will burst in the cell it won't affect the cell. When several lysosome bursts together it can rupture other cellular organelles. It is fatal for a cell.
