Hello there ^_ ^

6(x - 2) = 4
6x - 12 = 4
6x = 4 + 12
6x = 16
x = 16/6
x = 2.67

6(x-2)=4
First you need to distribute, so multiply the 6 by both variables in the parentheses.
6*x-6*2=4
6x-12=4
Then add 12 to each side (The 12's will cancel each other out)
6x=16
Divide 6 by each side.
6x/6=16/6
x=2.67
Hope it helps!

Find x, where x^6 = 9^-3 and x > 0
vodomira [7]
X^6 = (3^2)^-3
Translated this becomes

x^6 = 3^-6
x^6 = 1/3^6 Now you take the 1/6th root of both sides.
x = +/- 1/3 <<<<
I'm seeing if the equation editor does what it says it will do. You have the information to get the answer.

Answer:

No, it's not because 6 x 4 = 24 and 2 x 3 = 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order for it to be equivalent, the simplified ratio needs to be multiplied by the same number, meaning because 6 x 4 = 24, the next number needs to be the product of 2 x 4, not 2 x 3.

Answer:

I would say B

Step-by-step explanation:

when you are going down you tend to go faster because of gravity. So you would go down, up, down, up, and a little down. This would make B the answer because the speed is increasing when it goes down so that is the only answer that would make sense. Hope this helped! Have a good day! :)

Is the simplified form of 2 square root of 3 − 2 square root of 3 rational? (1 point)
postnew [5]

Answer:

Yes, the simplified form of 2 square root of 3 − 2 square root of 3 is rational.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is 2 \sqrt{3} - 2 \sqrt{3}

After performing the subtraction operation, the result is 0 as the terms are equal and opposite in sign, they cancel each other.

Rational numbers are those which can be expressed in the form of fractions, decimals, e.t.c

Since 0 can be expressed as a fraction, it is a rational number.

For eg: \frac{0}{2} = 0,

Hence the result of the given expression is a rational number.
