As much as Elana works, there is still room to have a great work-life balance if she wants it bad enough. It's important for Elana to make time to rest and spend time with friends and family to improve her social/emotional health. Finding time to relax and do relaxing activities makes for a better balance. Reading, working out and taking a bath are all ways Elana can improve her social and emotional health.

Darya [45]

Answer:

Overhead rate for ordering and receiving = $300 per order.

Explanation:

Given Activity costs and activity drivers

Activity                                          Overhead Cost            Driver Activity

Ordering & Receiving Order           $150,000                     500 orders

Machine Setup                                  $324,000                    450 setups

Machining                                          $1,587,500                   125,000 MH

Assembly Parts                                 $1,260,000                   1,000,000 parts

Inspection                                           $330,000                        500 inspections

Under activity based costing the rates are based on the nature of activity and the rates are based on number of those activities per driver. As for ordering and receiving there are total of 500 orders and total cost = $150,000 that is cost per order will be computed.

Overhead rate for ordering and receiving = $150,000/500 orders = $300 per order.

What is the rate of interest on a loan of $2,000, for 284 days, if the amount of interest is $93.37, using the exact interest me
vesna_86 [32]

Exact interest method is using 365 days instead of 360.

We are going to use the formula: I = Prt, we will derived the formula of rate.

r = I /Pt would be our formula, plugging in our amounts.

r = 93.37 / 2000 / (284/365)

= 93.37 / 2000 (0.7781)

= 93.37 / 1556.1643

= 0.06 or 6% when converted to percent.

To check:

I = Prt

= 2000 x 0.06 x 284/365

= 120 x 0.7781

= 93.37
