Well for what  I understood...

Let's say...

10 Pigs in total... Horses is 2 times more than pigs so
20 Horses in total... Cow is 4 times more than horses so
80 Cows in total...

The numbers are just examples of what I sort of understood.

ZEFG and ZGFH are a linear pair, mZEFG = 3n+ 21, and mZGFH = 2n + 34. What are mZEFG and mZGFH?
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

The answer is below

Step-by-step explanation:

∠EFG and ∠GFH are a linear pair, m∠EFG = 3n+ 21, and m∠GFH = 2n + 34. What are m∠EFG and m∠GFH?

Solution:

Two angles are said to form a linear pair if they share a base. Linear pair angles are adjacent angles formed along a line as a result of the intersection of two lines. Linear pairs are always supplementary (that is they add up to 180°).

m∠EFG = 3n + 21, m∠GFH = 2n + 34. Both angles form linear pairs, hence:

m∠EFG + m∠GFH = 180°

3n + 21 + (2n + 34) = 180

3n + 2n + 21 + 34 = 180

5n + 55 = 180

5n = 125

n = 25

Therefore, m∠EFG = 3(25) + 21 = 96°, m∠GFH = 2(25) + 34 = 84°

There are a total of 84 green cars, 35 blue cars, and 42 red cars parked in the parking lot. How many cars are parked in the par
Cloud [144]
Ok so you just have to add all of the quantities together so 84+35=119 and then 119+42=161 so there are 161 cars in the parking lot. Hope this helps

What is the coefficient in the expression 4x + 2 <br>O2<br>O4<br>Ox<br>O+
Amiraneli [1.4K]

A coefficient is a numerical or constant quantity placed before and multiplying the variable in an algebraic expression (e.g. 4 in 4x).

The 2 and + are out since they don't have variables(and the + is just a +).

So 4 and x are left. x is a variable, not a coefficient, so the last(and correct) answer is 4.

hope it helps

A kite flier wondered how high her kite was flying. She used a protractor to measure an angle of 15∘ from level ground to the ki
Nataly [62]

Answer:

12.9 yd

Step-by-step explanation:

It helps if you draw a triangle. Draw a horizontal segment. That is the ground. Now at the left end start a new segment that goes up to the right at approximately 15 degrees until it its other endpoint directly above the right endpoint of the horizontal segment. Connect these two endpoints. The vertical side on the right shows the height of the kite. The hypotenuse is the string.

For the 15-deg angle, the height of the triangle is the opposite leg, and the string is the hypotenuse. The trig ratio that relates the opposite leg tot he hypotenuse is the sine.

\sin A = \dfrac{opp}{hyp}

\sin 15^\circ = \dfrac{h}{50~yd}

(50~yd)\sin 15^\circ = h

h = (50~yd)(0.2588)

h = 12.9~yd
