Answer:  The unit rate is:  " 1.5 patties / bun " ;
                        or, write as:  "1.5 patties per bun" .
_____________________________________________________
The mistake is that the problem shown is incomplete.

The "unit rate" would be the "number of patterns per [single] bun."
 _________________________________________________________

30 patties/ 20 buns = 3 pattern/ 2 buns;

                                  =  (3/2) patties/ bun = 1.5 patties / bun ;
                                                or, write as:  "1.5 patties per bun" .

EFGH is a rhombus. Given EG = 16 and FH = 12, what is the length of one side of the rhombus?
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

(C) 10 units

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that EFGH is a rhombus and EG = 16 and FH = 12.

We know that the diagonals of the rhombus are the perpendicular bisectors, therefore OF=6, OH=6, OE=8 and OG=8.

Now, using the Pythagoras theorem in ΔOFG, we have

(FG)^{2}=(OG)^{2}+(OF)^{2}

(FG)^{2}=(8)^{2}+(6)^{2}

(FG)^2=64+36

FG=\sqrt{100}

FG=10

Thus, the value of the side of the rhombus will be 10 units.

Hence, option C is correct.

Supplementary angles , when added, = 180
complimentary angles, when added, = 90

< AQC + < GQC = 180.....supplementary
< BQD + < DQE = 90.......complimentary
< CQE + < EQF = 90.......complimentary
< GQF , < FQE.....neither
< BQC + < DQC = 90....complimentary

< W and < X are supplementary...
if < W = 37, then < X = (180 - 37) = 143

< S and < T are complimentary
if < S = 64, then < T = (90 - 64) = 26

< C and < D are supplementary
if < C = 83, the < D = (180 - 83) = 97

cant read all of the last one.....but if they are complimentary, and
< U = 41, then the other angle is : (90 - 41) = 49

Given the system:
mina [271]

Answer:

X= -3

Y= 7

a= -6

b = -28

C = 9

D= -7

Step-by-step explanation:

2x – 4y = -34

-3x - y = 2

2x – 4y = -34

-12x - 4y = 8

-14x = 42

X= 42/-14

X= -3

-3x - y = 2

-3(-3) -y = 2

9-y = 2

9-2= y

Y= 7

a = 2x

a= 2*-3

a= -6

b = -4y

b = -4*7

b = -28

C= -3x

C= -3*-3

C = 9

D= -y

D= -7
