Sales in first hour: $20
Sales in second hour: $20 * 1.1 = $22
Sales in third hour: $22 * 1.1 = $24.20
Sales in fourth hour: $24.20 * 1.1 =  $26.62
Sales in fifth hour: $26.62 * 1.1 = $29.28
Total sales: $20 + $22 + $24.20 + $26.62  $29.28 = $122.10

C. $122.10. You take 20, then take 10 percent of that to find the second hour's earnings (which is $22), then you take 10% of that number to find the next hour's earnings, and so on and so on until you reach the 5th hour. When you add all the values up, you get $122.10.

Lostsunrise [7]
Since x represents the length (in meters), the width, which is 7 meters greater, is x +7. The product of these dimensions is the area (in square meters):
  x(x +7) = 170
In standard form, the quadratic is ...
  x² +7x -170 = 0

A manufacturer produces cherry, peppermint, cinnamon, and orange-flavored gum. Each flavor is available with sugar or sugar-free
Semenov [28]

Answer: The total number of different types of labels will the manufacturers have to produce = 24.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Choices for flavours = 4

Choices for sugar = 2  {either sugar or sugar free}

Choices for the qunatity = 3

By Fundamental counting principle,

Total number of different types of labels will have to produce = (Choices for flavors) x (Choices for sugar)x (Choices for the quantity )

= 4 x  2x 3

=24

Hence, the total number of different types of labels will the manufacturers have to produce = 24.

4 biscuits are neither iced nor contain chocolate chips.

the probability that a biscuit picked at random contains chocolate

chips.

There are total 6 biscuits which have chocolate chips

The probability that a biscuit picked at random contains chocolate

chips. = 6/8 *8/30 = 6/30 = 1/5

The probability that a biscuit picked at random contains chocolate
