The religion is CHRISTIANITY. Christianity religion was brought to Ethiopia and other East African Kingdoms by Zantine missionaries in the 1000 CE. Before this time, the people of Ethiopia worshiped different kind of idols and ancestor spirits. The spread of Christianity religion through this region was aided by trading activities of the people.
Around that time period it was considered improper for a wife to disobey their husbands. Wives at the time period had very few rights and were dependent on their husbands.
