Answer:

1/18

Step-by-step explanation:

first, you make the fraction a mixed number so 2 2/3.

second, the two minuses cancel each other out so 2 1/6 + 2 2/3

third, make the 2/3 from 2 2/3 into 4/6 so you can add it to the 2 1/6

fourth, add your 2 1/6 and your 2 4/6 to get 4 5/6.

that’s the first part: 2 1/6 -(-8/3) is equal to 4 5/6

then, since you’re adding a negative number, it’s basically subtracting the 4 7/9 from 4 5/6

first you subtract the whole numbers = 0

then, make the denominators the same: (6*9, common denominator is 54) so since you’re multipling the 9 from 7/9 by 6, also multiply the 7 by 6 to get 42. 42/54. do the same but with a 9 on the 5/6. you get 45/54

so now you can do 42/54 — 45/54 to get 3/54

54/3 is 18 so you can simplify to 1/18

(1 point) In this problem we consider an equation in differential form M dx + N dy = 0. (8x + 8y)dx + (8x + 4y)dy = 0 Find My =
OLga [1]

The ODE is exact because M_y=N_x. Then

F_x=8x+8y\implies F(x,y)=4x^2+8xy+g(y)

F_y=8x+g'(y)=8x+4y\implies g'(y)=4y\implies g(y)=2y^2+C

So we have

F(x,y)=4x^2+8xy+2y^2=C

Ralph Warren purchased 27 shares of stock at 16 3/8 per share. He paid a $27.50 brokerage fee. He later sold all 27 shares at 17
kifflom [539]

Based on the number of shares that Ralph Warren purchased, the total cost of the stock was<u> $469.63.</u> The amount he received from sales was <u>$447.13.</u> The capital loss was <u>$22.50.</u>

<h3>What was the gain on the sale of the shares?</h3>

The cost of the stock was:

= (27 x 16³/₈) + 27.50

= $469.63

The amount received from sales:

= (27 x 17⁵/₈) - 28.75

= $447.13

This capital gain (loss):

= 447.13 - 469.63

= -$22.50

the slide at the playground has a height of 6 feet.The base of the slide measured on the ground is 8 feet.what is the length of
NemiM [27]
The formula for finding the length is
{a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} = {c}^{2}
All we have to do is plug in the numbers.

{6}^{2}  +  {8}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}
36 + 64 = 100

Since 100 =
{c}^{2}
we have to find the square root.

\sqrt{100}  = 10

The length of the slide is 10 feet.
