English

Answer:

Many people find that testing products on animals is cruel, while others agree that it is better for the animal to die rather than the human. The answer really depends on the opinion of the person answering it. I believe that testing products on animals is very cruel and that there is sure to be a better way to test their products, but again it all relies on the opinion. There is technically no right or wrong answer to this. Hope this helps!

The correct answer is: powerful and mysterious

The book implies that nature, much like the whale, is an impersonal and inscrutable phenomenon. Man tends to treat nature as an entity with motives or emotions, when in fact nature is ultimately indifferent to man.
