it all depends on what you're advertising for, and what field of work your in such as a video producer/ editor or a graphic designer. For example, if you're advertising for men's fashion both ways would be good but let's focus on magazines. you would want to place the items that are linked to men's fashion in a very visible place so your audience can see, then you can write the name of the items you're advertising for in a large and interesting font, then you can give a description of the item below the larger font, it is best to only use two fonts cause it's more natural to the eye. this is where you can fix issues with the text like the leading, tracking, ect. It's important to keep your work creative to it attracts more buyers.
