- tint: for example yellow, green, violet, red, etc. they are shades or hues. This feature defines variants of a tone or hue (ie a color) related to its saturation or lightness or as a result of the proportion of component colors or aggregates.

- tone: is a coherent pattern of the use of written word mechanics and language employed by a particular writer or group. The tone of a text does not depend on the characteristics and experiences of the writer, but on the position - which must be conscious - of the writer.

- shading: refers to the action that gives shadow or shading to any type of drawing or painting. Thus, painting and plastic art are the disciplines that most use shading to bring to life the figures, faces, objects, among others, that appear in painting or drawing with a shadow effect.
