Answer:

Correct answer is a. made New York City into the nation´s busiest portwas.

Explanation:

Hello!

The Erie Canala is a waterway that was built from Bufalo to Albany. In this way, the channel links the agricultural territories located in the Midwest with the Atlantic Ocean. The objective of this work was to accelerate the transport of people and cargo, thus promoting commercial exchange.

Its construction began in 1817 and ended in 1825, when it was inaugurated.

The use of the channel allowed to improve the economy of New York and promoted the migration of people to the west. In 1835, New York City was already the largest city in the United States.

What are your takeaways from the Constitutional Convention? Free write a paragraph about what stands out to you, what was good/b
Delvig [45]

Answer

The Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia convened 55 representatives from 12 states. It was charged with revising or replacing the Articles of Confederation, which had served as the framework for governance since the American Revolution against Britain. The convention decided on a bicameral legislature and population-based representation.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was one of the most infamous provisions of the Constitution. It established a ratio of 3 to 5 of enslaved men and women in the House of Representatives for representation and taxes purposes. The document's ratification faced the most serious opposition from the larger states of Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia.

I believe that much of this was unnecessary and could have been handled more effectively. Rather than enslave, we should cooperate. If someone is unwilling to cooperate with you, there may be an issue with the way you conduct business.
