Is domestica sobreesdrujula

Spanish
1 answer:
Vilka [71]3 years ago

Answer : No, because if its stressed syllable is the antepenultimate, so it's an "esdrújula". Always must carry a written accent.

Doméstica => feminine adjective. Esdrújula

But if its stressed syllable were the penultimate it would be the third person singular of the verb domesticate: él domestica. Then it would be "grave" and it doesn't carry a written accent.

Domestica => verb. Grave.

Hope this helps!

¿Cuál es la mejor traducción de esta oración: Charlie and Sophie will learn a lot about Puerto Rican culture in Jayuya? Carlos y
Aloiza [94]

The correct translation is: Carlos y Sofía aprenderán mucho sobre la cultura de Puerto Rico en Jayuya.

In the example above, we can see the Spanish verb aprenderán, which is conjugated in futuro simple, modo indicativo (simple future tense, indicative mood) and we can see the modal verb will in the original sentence, which is also used to express future.

On the other hand, the second example is wrong because the spanish verb aprenden is conjugated in presente, modo indicativo (simple present tense, indicative mood).
