Hydrosphere causes erosion of geosphere through running water and precipitation. Biosphere breaks down rock of the geosphere (plant roots), but when it comes to soil, minerals of the geosphere feed the plants. Biosphere and atmosphere interact through animal and plant respiration of oxygen and carbon dioxide.

South Asia is actually a ____________, a large landmass within a continent
bulgar [2K]
I don't know whether this was one of your options, but South Asia can be very well characterized as  a Sub-continent.

In fact, it's is commonly referred to as "the Indian Subcontinent" or even simply "Subcontinent". One of the reason for a distinction of this part of the land is that it lies on a different tectonic plate.

Which type of volcanism formed the Andes in South America?
mixer [17]

Answer:

convergence between a continental plate and an oceanic plate

Explanation:

The Andean Mountain Range has been formed because of volcanic activity. This has happened because of a convergent plate boundary between two plates.

More specifically, the convergent plate boundary is between the continental South American plate and the oceanic Nazca plate. The Nazca plate is lower, denser, heavier, and it is moving below the South American plate, creating a subduction zone.

Where the boundary is between the two plates, the mantle manages to push through magma upwards through the cracks in the crust. This magma managed to get to the surface, lift up the land and create volcanoes, creating a continental volcanic arc parallel to the plate boundary, over time becoming the enormous Andean Mountain Range.

Alex777 [14]

Answer:

When looking at the Inner planets you can infer and determine the temperature of them will be greatly higher than the outer planets. This is due to the sun being closer to the four inner planets giving off more heat.

Explanation:

The sun radiates heat to the closest objects to it, in this case the inner planets meaning they will be hotter.
