A debate will begin with the proposition of the advocacy group on a given issue. Soon after, there will be the proposition of one of the members of the opposing group.  Talks between speakers will alternate until all members of both groups make their case.  Finally, after each group speaks its proposition, each group will have the opportunity to refute arguments against their own.
