Answer:

The Legislative Branch is the part of the government that writes up and votes on laws, also called legislation. Other powers of the Congress include declaring war, confirming Presidential appointments for groups like the Supreme Court and the Cabinet, and investigating power, but the legislative branch can't carry out laws or interpret laws. The legislative branch must be very careful when developing laws. The laws must be worded very clearly to do the things Congress intended for them to do.

What happened to the native population of Central America between the years 1540 & 1580
Alina [70]

The native population of Central America between the years 1540 and 1580 was decimated.

Explanation:

Before the Europeans arrived in Central America, there were numerous thriving native populations. When the Spanish arrived though, this all changed. The Spanish came with few goals, all of which were causing enormous damage to the native populations. Some of the goals of the Spanish were:

 • gaining as much gold and silver as possible
 • conquering as much territory as possible
 • spreading their culture and religion

In order to do these things, the Spanish entered in conflict with the native populations. Having superior weapons, and using the local conflicts, the Spanish managed to kill lot of people in this region. While this was devastating on its own, the diseases that spread from the Spanish on the natives had even worse effect, as they didn't had the immune system to cope with them and experienced mass dying out.

The native populations had dramatic lose in numbers, and with the invasion of the Spanish, and their aggression toward their culture and beliefs resulted in rapid demographic change between 1540 and 1580. Some of the native populations that were affected by this were:

 • Aztec
 • Zapotec
 • Toltec
 • Maya

As a result of the collapse of roman rule in 476, what did western Europe experience ?
gregori [183]

The Fall of the Western Roman Empire (commonly known as Fall of the Roman Empire or Fall of Rome) was the period of decline in the Western Roman Empire in which it disintegrated and split into numerous successor states. By 476 CE, when Odoacer deposed the Emperor Romulus, the Western Roman Empire wielded negligible military, political, or financial power and had no effective control over the scattered Western domains that could still be described as Roman. Invading "barbarians" had established their own polities on most of the area of the Western Empire. While its legitimacy lasted for centuries longer and its cultural influence remains today, the Western Empire never had the strength to rise again.
