Pretty sure you do 7.4/360. And then times pi and the radius squared. Should come out to be 10.91354 cm^2

Given that sinθ=-3/4 in quadrant 4 find cosθ
Gekata [30.6K]

Step-by-step explanation:

sin∅=-3/4 in 4 quadrant which sine is negative there

using soh cah toa

sin=opp/hyp

where our opp=-3 and our hyp=4

using pythagoras theorem

hyp²=opp²+adj²

(4)²=(-3)²+adj²

16=9+adj²

16-9=adj²

adj²=7

adj=√7

from soh cah toa

cos∅=adj/hyp

cos∅=√7/4

A recent survey asked UF students if they had a job or not, and if they were underclassmen (Freshmen and Sophomores) or uppercla
vlada-n [284]
Following the table and knowing that the total number of students interviewed were 158 ( we can see this by looking adding either the total number of upperclassment or adding the total number of people with jobs or no jobs, this value is at the bottom right of the table in the figure attached).
Recall that:
P(A\cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A\cap B)
In the figure provided each of these terms is highlighted in a different color. To convert these values to their matching probabilities we have to divide each by the total number of students, this is due to the fact that the probability is the number of favorable cases (in this case a group matching the qualities we seek) divided by the total amount of cases ( that is the total number of people interviewed). In the figure the answer is provided. For the intersection of the two events we're looking for people that is both an undercalssman and also has a job.

andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer: 120 schools

Step-by-step explanation:

3,120 students competed in a statewide athletic competition and each participating school district sent 26 students to the athletic competition.

Total number of students= 3120

Total students sent by each school= 26

Number of participating school districts= Total number of students ÷ he students sent by each school

= 3120 / 26

= 120 students

There are 120 participating schools in the competition
