Crossing over happen when prophase I of meiosis I. It involves the exchanging of genes between the non-sister chromatids of homologues which allows the novel mixture of maternal and paternal genetic material with new, recombining chromosomes. Chromosomes maternal and paternal chromosomes line up during. Certainly, it is complete not chosen which sperm fertilizes which egg which creates even more potential variation in the offspring.

If a male genotype is Tt and the female genotype is TT, then what are the phenotypic ratios for tall and short corn?Phenotype :a
alisha [4.7K]

Answer:

The correct answer is b. all tall

Explanation:

If the genotype of one parent for height is Tt and another parent is TT then after the fusion of gamete all the offspring will show tall phenotype because all the offspring will have at least one allele of tall character.

                     T    t

               T   TT  Tt

               T   TT  Tt

So after cross two phenotype would be homozygous dominant for tall character and the other two will be heterozygous dominant for tall character. Therefore all the offspring would be tall.

All energy in any ecosystem starts as
ExtremeBDS [4]
I'd say heat, more specifically sunlight.

Why?

Because sun is the form of energy needed for plants to grow and live. Plants in turn are the form of energy needed for herbivores to live that later on turn out to be the form of energy needed by the carnivores. When these die, decomposers  will be the ones to take advantage of the energy.

As you can see an ecosystem has already been formed: producers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers or decomposers.
