Okay so this is called factoring. Lets do this:  To find the original number, multiply 0.25 by 0.5
0.25 * 0.5 = 0.125
So the original number was 0.125. They factored it into 0.25 and 0.5. 0.25 and 0.5 were then factored into 2 other numbers , I think 1 is in included with them.
Since 0.25 multiplied by 1 is 0.25, one of the blank rectangles has to be 0.25. The same goes for 0.5.
So, the blank rectangle on the left is 0.25 and the one on the right is 0.5.
