Does anyone know a little more about scientific notation?

Mathematics

Answer: yeah

Step-by-step explanation: if you're writing in scientific notation you pretty much write the power and look to see how much the decimal is moved over and if there is no decimal then look for the number to the left i think and turn it into a exponent

The net force in the forward direction will be 9 Newton.

<h3>What is a expression? What is a mathematical equation? What is friction? What is coefficient of kinetic and static friction?</h3>
  • A mathematical expression is made up of terms (constants and variables) separated by mathematical operators.
  • A mathematical equation is used to equate two expressions. Equation modelling is the process of writing a mathematical verbal expression in the form of a mathematical expression for correct analysis, observations and results of the given problem.
  • Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other.
  • The opposing force between two objects in contact that are moving against each other is called kinetic friction. The force that has to be overcome in order to get something to move is called static friction.
  • F(Kinetic) = μ[k]N and F(static) = μ[S]N

We have the coefficient of kinetic friction between the plastic legs of the desks and the tile is 0.3. The desks have a mass of 17 kg each. Mr. bob applies of a force of 60 N to the desk

We can write the equation for the net forward motion as -

F{net} = F{applied} - F{friction}

F{net} = F{applied}  - μ[k]N

F{net} = F{applied} - μ[k]mg

F{net} = 60 - 0.3 x 17 x 10

F{net} = 60 - 51

F{net} = 9 Newton

Therefore, the net force in the forward direction will be 9 Newton.
