All you really have to know for this one is that 1 watt means 1 joule/second.  Now let's look at it:

The blender takes 400 watts of electrical power from the wall outlet.  That's 400 joules of electrical energy/second.

It's only 85% efficient though, so it can only provide (0.85 x 400) = 340 J/sec to whip the smoothie.

In 30 seconds:

-- It takes (30 s x 400 J/s) = 12,000 joules of electrical energy from the outlet

and

-- It whips (30 s x 340 J/s) = 10,200 Joules of energy into the smoothie.

The other 2,000 Joules of energy that comes out of the wall but doesn't go into the smoothie is what heats up the blender motor.

400 watts * \frac{1 J/sec}{1 watt} * 30 sec * \frac{85}{100}efficiency = 10,200 J

Is this correct? I used the 90/360 x 2 π (90)
slavikrds [6]

The circumference is found by multiplying the radius by pi by 2

And then the arc length would be multiplied by the fraction of the circle..

So using what you wrote is correct, but the answer you got is incorrect.

2x 3.14 x 90 = 565.2 meters

565.2 x 90/360 = 141.3 meters

Can someone please help me??? And please be sure of ur answer :)
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

1. is the last one.

2. is the 3rd one.

3. is the first one.

4. is the 2nd one.

Step-by-step explanation:

What you do is you have to get the letter by itself and it all depends on the less than or greater than signs.

For #1. -m+8>6. What you do is you minus 8 from both sides to get -m>-2. You still have a -m so you need to divide both sides by a -1. (<em><u>one thing to remember is when you divide by a negative you have to switch the sign.</u></em>) So your answer will be m<2. That will make the last graph the answer.

For #2. -2p< or equal to -10. What you do is divide by -2. and you need to remember to switch the sign. So your answer is p> or equal to 5.

You will do the same for the other two equations but your answers are.

#1. is the last one graph.

#2. is the 3rd one graph.

#3. is the first one graph.

#4. is the 2nd one graph.

How can you express the properties of operations to evaluate this expression 18 + 4(28)
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

I don't know if I'm understanding your question correctly. But I'll try...

In this problem you need to remember PEMDAS!

Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction.

18 + 4(28)     -First you would multiply 4 by 28 since the 28 is in parentheses.

18 + 112        -Now you would add to find your answer

= 130

I hope this helps!
